What documents are required to enter in the Examination Hall?

It will be mandatory for the candidates to produce original CNIC, Original Treasury Receipt of fee paid for the post applied for and downloaded copy of Admission Certificate to the Supervisory Staff of the FPSC at the time of Screening/ Written Test. A candidate, who does not have any of these documents, shall not be permitted to appear in the test in any case.

On what grounds the Candidature of an applicant is rejected?

An application will be rejected on any of the following grounds: -
1. Application not received on or before the closing date.
2. Fee not paid on or before the closing date or short payment of prescribed fee.
3. Non submission of original Treasury Receipt of application fee deposited on or before the closing date at the time of written test / alongwith requisite documents (for non-test cases)
4. Under age/Overage.
5. No proof of age.
6. Do not possess required/advertised domicile.
7. No proof of Educational Qualification.
8. Lack of Educational criteria on the closing date as the result was not declared/announced upto the closing date.
9. Educational Qualification is not relevant.
10. Post qualification experience is short.
11. No proof of experience.
12. Do not possess required/advertised experience.
13. Relevant/countable experience is short.
14. Departmental Permission Certificate has been refused.
15. Some relevant column of the online Application left blank.
16. In case of non-submission of attested copies of the certificates within stipulated time of FPSC Notice as proof in support of the Prescribed Qualification/ Experience/ Domicile etc., his/ her candidature shall stand rejected.

What is the criteria for short listing regarding Degree?

Candidates are shortlisted as per advertised conditions. Degree of the candidate should be completed before closing date of advertisement. Date on the final result of semester / final transcript is considered as criteria for completion of degree.

Documents submission / interview letters are not received by candidates?

If letters from FPSC are not received then you can update/check your address by writing application in the name of Secretary FPSC including complete address / particulars along with full name, case number mobile number. Can a candidate submit his/her father Domicile / family domicile?

No, only Self Domicile Certificate(SDC) is accepted.

Documents were called but my name is not in shortlisted candidate’s list.

Those candidates whose documents were called but were not in shortlisted candidate’s list are actually low in order of merit and does not fall in the prescribed ratio of short listing criteria (detail is given in General Instructions).

What is the procedure for submission of documents to the candidates for short listing/rejection?

Documents can be submitted by hand or through courier/TCS in response to FPSC notice.

What is the procedure of submission of Departmental Permission Certificate (DPC)?
The format of DPC is available on FPSC official website and it is forwarded to FPSC through Head of the concerned Ministry /Department.
What is the procedure for change/amendment in recruitment Rules

Recruitment Rules can be changed through concerned Ministry/Department.

When does FPSC take exam?

Tentative exam date is given in every advertisement (last page).

What is the criteria for short listing regarding merit and quotas?

Candidates are shortlisted as per ratio 1:5 and 1:3 for merit and quotas respectively. Remaining candidates are low in order of merit.

What is the criteria for age?

Age criteria varies from post to post and it is given in advertisement. Five years general age relaxation is given and other age relaxation criteria’s are given in General instructions.

Can a candidate submit his father, mother or family domicile?

No, only Self Domicile Certificate(SDC) of the candidate is acceptable.

What is the criteria for qualification and experience?

Candidates are shortlisted for each post as per qualification and experience criteria given in the advertisement for that post.

How to edit GR Online Application?

Candidates may edit on-line applications only once within the closing date in order to rectify any error/ omission etc. Information claimed in on-line application form will be treated as final.

What is the required Fee to be submitted in the Bank against the post advertised by FPSC ?

The Application Fee for posts (BS-14, 16 & 17 = Rs. 300/- BS 18= Rs. 750/- BS-19 = Rs. 1200/- BS-20 and above= Rs. 1500/-). The amount should be deposited on or before the closing date in the nearest Government Treasury, or in a branch of the National Bank of Pakistan, or in a state treasury authorized to transact business on behalf of the Government under the account head “C02101-Organs of State Exam Fee (FPSC Receipt)”. Fee once paid will not be refunded nor will it be held in reserve for any other or subsequent examination/selection.

What is Considered by FPSC as the proof of Date of Birth (DOB)?

Matriculation Certificate which clearly states the Date of Birth. In case a candidate who possesses GCE “O‟ level or equivalent certificate which does not contain the Date of Birth, the School Leaving Certificate along with Birth Certificate issued by the Hospital/Municipal Committee as an authentic proof of Date of Birth will be accepted
