Chairman's Message

The Federal Public Service Commission plays an important role in ensuring merit based recruitment of enterprising candidates to the civil/federal Services. In doing so, we have tried to catalyze the development of the country and the progress of the nation. Over the years, demands on the resources of the Commission have increased manifold.

To meet these demands and to keep pace with the dynamic environment, we have focused on optimal utilization of technology, introduction of new means of testing and increasing accessibility of the Commission’s functions without compromising on quality and timeliness. These initiatives are now beginning to bear fruit and their positive outcomes are now emerging in form of greater capability of the Commission to manage and process large cases in a timely manner.

Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s conviction that the ‘services are the backbone of the state’ places an important responsibility on shoulders of the Commission to ensure that services of the best and brightest are employed in the task of nation building. We, therefore, remain committed to the policy of continuous improvement to further facilitate candidates as well as the Government to enable the services of Pakistan to act as engines of progress and growth for the country.
